The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a colorful mix of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing angels, evil spirits, and malevolent powers expanding in power within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the third episode of this adventure lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The third episode finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the first table of adventurers who will split off from the central cast to undertake their independent quest, distinct from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table features the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Considering a large ensemble, it was clear from the beginning that maintaining everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

This explains, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Introduction, weaving together the personal journeys before splitting into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Planners, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the hesitant healer the cleric might look out of place, but the developments of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the party has a clear idea where to head next after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose demise initiated the narrative’s action—exploited the foes for his personal gain, invading Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the character, and taking all the enchanted items to auction.

The traitor then settled his debts and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, above the city, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, seeks revenge.
  • The adventurer has experience in the northern area and advises that it is a nasty environment.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having resisted his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their position as important members in House Halovar could help the group enter areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now go with him wherever.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that control the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and Wicander turned against the influential house and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by the clan.

This means them little choice but to head to the northern region in quest for Casimir.

Future Episodes
